About us
Halfords is on a journey - building the future of motoring and cycling and looking for people who want to help shape what comes next. We’re a place for co‑creators: people who want to make a real impact, take ownership and be part of something that’s still evolving.
As the UK’s leading retailer of motoring and cycling products, we’re supported by one of the country’s largest independent vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair networks through Halfords Autocentres. This breadth gives us a strong, stable foundation - and the freedom to keep innovating and growing.
That means real variety for our colleagues, along with the opportunity to learn, stretch and develop as the business moves forward. Whatever your role, you’ll be part of a team focused on delivering exceptional service - using your expertise to solve problems, guide customers and help keep the nation moving with confidence.
About the role
As an Autocentre Early Careers Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and success of our Early Careers programmes across the UK, with a primary focus on the North of England covering areas such as Scotland, Newcastle, Lincolnshire, Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool, alongside occasional wider UK travel. Working within the Skills Development team, you will partner closely with the Group Apprenticeship Team Leader to drive the development and delivery of high-quality apprenticeship and early careers initiatives across our Autocentres.
In this role, you will act as a central point of support for colleagues undertaking early careers programmes, ensuring they are engaged, supported, and set up for success throughout their journey. You will build strong, collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including Autocentre colleagues, training providers, and colleges, helping to create a positive and effective learning experience that delivers both individual and business outcomes.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines people support, stakeholder management, and programme coordination, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development of future talent across the business.
