About the role

We’re on the lookout for a confident and professional Events Coordinator to join our dynamic B2B Proposition & Marketing team at Halfords. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual who enjoys working closely with both marketing and sales teams to plan and deliver impactful events.

In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in promoting our Cycle to Work scheme and other B2B propositions, engaging directly with clients and supporting event delivery from start to finish. We’ll provide full training to give you the knowledge and confidence to represent Halfords at events.

As an Events Coordinator, you’ll be a detail-oriented multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working independently, your responsibilities will span the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of events across the UK representing Halfords. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure each event meets business objectives and exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of both in-person and virtual events across the UK.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to represent Halfords at events, promoting and educating attendees on the Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Ensure all necessary marketing materials and resources are prepared in advance from the Halfords Support Centre.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable presence when engaging with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing training to deepen your knowledge of the industry and enhance your expertise.

About you

  • Highly Organised – Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and details efficiently
  • Ability to plan and manage own time efficiently - ability to prioritise tasks and manage time under tight deadlines
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication to coordinate with clients, and team members.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities – Quick thinking and adaptability to address challenges during event planning and execution.
  • Attention to Detail
  • Interest within the cycling industry

This is a field-based role that involves traveling to events across the UK. A work van will be provided for business use, and the position requires flexibility regarding travel and overnight stays.
