As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Brand Manager, in delivering of the Cycle Republic marketing strategy across our stores, developing content generation online and building our events and partnership relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute all strategic and tactical PR & marketing communications campaigns for all store activity.
  • Be the ‘go-to’ marketing point of contact for all shops local marketing activity driving footfall in-store.
  • Develop & manage the regional & in-store ‘events’ calendar for all shops drive customer engagement instore. e.g. women’s workshops, bike fit, nutritional evenings.  
  • Engage with our suppliers to generate online content & marketing support, raising awareness of the CR brand and showcasing new ranges.
  • Develop strong and effective local relationships with cycling bodies, industry media and cycling partnerships e.g. Cycle Cycle Hubs, British Cycling/Breeze.
  • Champion the Reward Card program, driving growth and sign up, whilst continuously proposing new opportunities.
  • Working alongside the trading team to implement the annual in-store promotional plan, ensuring correct delivery of all POS.
  • Ensure stores have accurate POS tickets, working with the Cycle Republic trading team take responsibility for the input of product/price information to Episys ticking system.
  • Leverage all PR opportunities to maximise the exposure of Cycle Republic brand developments.
  • Co-ordinate the delivery of marketing collateral for all cycle-to-work roadshows and exhibitions.
  • Work alongside the digital team in coordinating the generation of video content.
  • Ensure clear and measurable targets are agreed and set for all campaigns.
  • Support the brand manager to ensure all internal & external collateral remains on brand.

Skills Required

  • Creative with strong organisational & time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage numerous projects at any one time
  • Ability to work at pace, with flexibility to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Numerate with strong writing skills, competent with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a marketing or commercial environment
