Purpose

The Digital Content Manager will have a pivotal role in creating and implementing content in line with our brand guidelines.

Creating engaging content to ensure this is marketed to Cycle Republic customers ensuring that our website remains engaging and fresh for our customers.

You will be involved in a number of areas across digital that will provide a thorough but wide ranging knowledge base for your future digital career including creating content that is implemented on our site to writing copy and communicating digitally through email and social this role will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation and implementation of digital content for use across digital (Onsite, email, social)
  • Innovation, management, creation and implementation of new landing pages, store pages and brand pages
  • Updating, improving and maintaining current pages
  • Maintaining the appearance and standard of the website
  • Support our development team in the execution of new code and content on key projects
  • Share and implement new ideas to increase engagement and conversion on the website
  • Working closely with digital team across all areas (Development, Marketing, Trading)
  • Create content that establishes trust with our customers that our product is right for them
  • Creating copy that is focused on maximising reach to our customers
  • Editing, writing and proof reading copy for Cycle Republic when necessary
  • Be the advocate of Cycle Republic in all areas of your responsibility
  • Work closely alongside internal stakeholders to develop campaigns
  • Deliver innovative content in accordance with timescales and resources available to deliver best in class and engaging content

Skills Required

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Up-to-date with the latest web trends, standards, techniques and technologies
  • Extensive experience with all industry tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign etc
  • Experience of creating content in digital ecommerce platform (CMS)
  • Knowledge and experience of HTML is desirable
  • Knowledge of SEO, UX and UI principles and how they will affect your designs and implementations
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable and receptive to change
  • Grasp on how digital content and marketing drives UX
  • Able to drive creative, strategy and vision within the business.
  • Able to effectively communicate information and ideas and build and maintain relationships
  • A passion for cycling and related product is desirable
